Travel to Brazil
All travelers are required to secure their own roundtrip airfare to SSA (Salvador, Bahia). Program participants must arrive between 12:01am on 11:59pm on November 20 and depart between 12pm and 11:59pm on November 30 to receive airport transfers provided by host. All travelers must have a valid passport and Brazilian travel Visa to participate in this program. See FAQ page for more informaiton about obtaining your travel documents.
Lodging
Lodging will vary based on availability at time of registration, but all program participants can expect shared apartment or condo accommodations with a housekeeper and breakfast served daily. Apartment occupancy will depend on the number of bedrooms, but will not exceed 2 people per bedroom. All apartments will have on site laundry, WiFi and full kitchen.
Timeline

September 1, 2025 - Deadline to order a U.S. passport if you do not have one already.

September 15, 2025 - Deadline to receive full refund minus any processing fees

October 15, 2025 - Full trip payment due and/or deadline to receive partial refund for trip cancellation.

October 30, 2025 - Deadline to submit all travel documents to SBT.

November 20, 2025 - 12:01am - 11:59pm arrival in Salvador, BA (SSA). Anyone arriving outside of this window will need to secure their own airport transfer.
